Upside Down: Kingdom Culture

The values of our culture and ways of the world don’t seem to be working, are we happy and content? Sometimes it feels that we’re more stressed, less peaceful, caught in a hurry, and struggling with all kinds of pulls on us. Does this way, the way of our culture lead to a blessed life?

Jesus, flips it upside down.

In the “Sermon on the Mount” Jesus explained that the pursuit of happiness is not found in accumulating wealth, alleviating all stress, only doing things we enjoy or completing your bucket list.

Jesus called his followers to a new way, a different way, to His kingdom, a Kingdom which bucked the trend of the day.

This Kingdom culture is counter-cultural, it’s upside down, it’s not the kingdom of the world, the day or our day, but Jesus’ kingdom is a better way

So join us this Sunday to pursue Jesus as we explore the Upside Down Kingdom Culture.
