Meet Our Senior Pastor

Mark Sherratt

Senior Pastor

I am married to Alison and have two wonderful boys Wesley and Mitchell. After graduating from the International Bible Training Institute in West Sussex I joined the leadership team at MKCC in 1980. Over the years I have served the church as Youth Pastor, Worship Pastor, Associate Pastor and from 2001 Senior Pastor. I am committed to leading a team of gifted leaders to outwork the vision of MKCC to bring people to Jesus, equipping them to be fully devoted followers of Christ. I am passionate about the local church and for it to make an impact in the world with the good news of Jesus Christ. I also serve as a trustee and lecturer at the International Bible Training College in West Sussex UK. I also travel overseas as a speaker in leadership training initiatives and local churches.

Want to know more about our values?

Everything has a culture and our church is no different. Our values help set our church’s culture as we bring people to Jesus, equipping them to be fully devoted followers of Christ.

What We Believe

Jesus is the head of our church, and His Word is the standard for how we live — as individuals and as God’s family — for the glory of God. Read a brief statement for each of our essential Christian beliefs that we hold as a church.

If it’s your first time with us, here are a few frequently asked questions to help you plan your visit.

Where do I go when I get to church?

The parking team will direct you to the closest available space. We reserve parking spaces for first-time guests, so if you’re new to church, be sure to let someone know when you enter the carpark.

As you’re walking to the building, the Welcome Team will meet you and show you where to find the Auditorium, toilets, and children’s ministry. If you need anything throughout the day, feel free to stop by Guest Services.

What do you do for children?

In Discovery Kids, children experience Jesus on their level. Discovery Kids is a safe, age-appropriate environment where kids have their own service with singing, a Bible lesson, and small group time. For parents with babies, we also has a dedicated space where parents and babies can watch the service together.

How long is the service?

Services last about an hour and 10 minutes. We start by singing three to four songs, then you’ll hear from a member of our preaching team. To get a feel for our preaching style, check out our recent sermons. At the end of the service, we create space to respond to what we’ve heard by singing, praying for one another, and bringing our tithes and offerings.

What should I wear?

Most people dress casually, but you are welcome to wear whatever makes you comfortable.
