Be Rich In Love

About This Talk

The Bible teaches that we should love God and love our neighbour. This leads to the question of who is my neighbour and how should I love them? The life that Jesus calls us to live is more than a Sunday morning activity. It involves us being open to doing good to all without excuses. Find out more in this message.

About The Series

“You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.”

2 Corinthians 9:11

Chances are good that if you’re reading this, you’re in the 4% club. By international standards, you’re rich!

We demonstrate the love of God when we give, serve, and love others—both in our community and around the world. Together, we’ll unleash a wave of generosity. No-strings-attached generosity was the hallmark of the first-century church. It should be a hallmark of the twenty-first-century church too. The apostle Paul told Timothy, ‘Command those who are rich in this present world . . . to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.’ – 1 Timothy 6:18. Most people want to make a difference but don’t know how to. Be Rich makes it simple.
