At Milton Keynes Christian Centre and LightForce International, we believe in the power of partnerships and the incredible impact that can be achieved when we come together to make a difference. We want to celebrate the longstanding partnership we have with the Home of Faith in Andhra Pradesh, India and share the inspiring story of our recent collaboration that has allowed us to continue changing lives.

Under the remarkable leadership of Sunitha Johnson, the Home of Faith has been a beacon of hope for vulnerable people groups in Andhra Pradesh. For many years, this incredible project has provided housing, feeding, education, and healthcare to over 40 orphaned children, giving them the chance to thrive and pursue a brighter future.

Our involvement with the Home of Faith stretches back to its early days. We were there to support the project by securing land and building a safe and nurturing home for the community. We also took on the responsibility of ongoing sponsorship, ensuring that these children have a stable environment and access to education, empowering them with more choices in life.

However, life is unpredictable, and sometimes challenges arise when we least expect them. A few weeks ago, we received an urgent request for assistance from the Home of Faith. A devastating storm had caused significant damage to the building that serves as the project’s office and, more importantly, Sunitha’s home. It was a moment of crisis, and we knew that immediate action was required to help them recover and continue their vital work.

Your Generosity In Action

Thanks to the funds generated by MK Conferencing and Tiny Steps Day Nursery, which have been specifically designated for assisting the most vulnerable in our world, we were able to respond swiftly to this urgent call for help. Without hesitation, we sent £2,200 to replace the damaged roof and repair the electrical systems.

This timely support enabled Sunitha and her dedicated team to overcome this setback and continue their amazing work with a minimum of disruption. The Home of Faith can once again be a safe haven for these orphaned children, a place where they receive the love, care, and education they deserve. This partnership has not only repaired a physical structure but also mended shattered hopes and dreams.

This achievement is a testament to the power of collective action, the generosity of our community, and the unwavering commitment of all those involved. It is a reminder that every contribution, no matter how big or small, can have a significant impact on the lives of those in need.

Today, we celebrate not only the success of rebuilding the Home of Faith but also the transformative power of compassion, unity, and the belief in a brighter future. Together, we are changing lives and making a lasting difference, one child, one family, and one community at a time.

As we reflect on this milestone, let it serve as an inspiration to us all. Let us continue to reach out, to lend a helping hand, and to support those in need. Together, we can create a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive, where hope shines brightly, and where every person’s potential is realized.

Join us on this incredible journey of impact, and let’s continue to build a better tomorrow for all.

Together, we are changing lives.
