Discipleship – Community
About This Talk
The individual response to follow Jesus is a personal response, but Jesus didn’t expect people to then go it alone, or follow him in isolation. We need people to help us grow. Jesus called his disciples into community (family). Jesus used both one on one and group settings to disciple people. We need to be doing the same.

About The Series
“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.”
Being a disciple is a life-long, journey of pursuing Jesus. In this series, we’ll explore what Jesus called His first disciples to be and ask how we can become and grow as disciples in our lives today.
In a world where everything is quick and immediate, we ask what the long walk of following Jesus looks like. We’ll look at the call to be a disciple, the community of disciples, the cost of discipleship and the commission of the disciple. The journey of discipleship is to pursue Jesus in every part of our lives and become a disciple who makes other disciples.
