Thursday 4th November 9.30am-11.00am
A Sensory Hub where parents can COME, CONNECT and feel CARED for.
At Milton Keynes Christian Centre, we are passionate about people and that passion drives us to find new ways to care for the people in our community. This year we completed the construction of a brand new sensory suite, not just for those who attend Milton Keynes Christian Centre, but for the wider community of families who have children with additional needs.
Our state of the art facility hosts multiple sensory experiences for children to engage with, such as the Augmented Reality (AR) Sandbox allowing children to ‘move mountains’, with the wave of a hand and create rainfall. This ingenious technology fosters overlaying visual, auditory, or other sensory information. The truly unique Cozy Cabins allow children to retreat to a calm and tranquil space, there’s a bubble wall, web swing and so much more to come and explore.
So we are thrilled to announce the launch of our Sensory Hub Coffee Morning starting on Thursday 4 November @ 9.30 am – 11 am.
If you are a parent of a child with additional needs, we want to invite you to come and see our brand new sensory suite, have a cuppa and make some connections with other parents. You are more than welcome to bring your children with you, but if they are in school come along anyway, and meet other parents and see what our sensory suite has to offer.
This weekly event will encourage you wherever you are in your parenting journey. Feel free to come and join us for the Sensory Hub Coffee Morning at Milton Keynes Christian Centre on Strudwick Drive in Oldbrook. The cost of the session is £1 per family. Simply click the link below to register.
