About The Series

“Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” – Matthew 6:25

Kingdom: God Knows

On a daily basis we are bombarded with negative reports of war, climate crisis, economic downturn, moral decline, bleak financial forecasts etc and this can be compounded by our personal challenges.

We are however encouraged by God’s word to trust in His promises, and this can be an uphill task, particularly in the times we live in.

Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:25, not to be anxious about life, what we will eat, wear, drink etc. This is no mean feat particularly in the times we live in as we remember the promises of God and still grapple with questions like “How can God help me in my singleness?”, “How can God bring comfort in the time of grief?” and “How can God forgive me?”.

Christianity is a radical faith that believes in the God who knows and understands our sufferings. Because He became one of us, Jesus can relate to every pain we could ever experience: poverty, homelessness, difficult life changes, betrayal, being misunderstood, and even family drama. Like Jesus, we are called to be honest about our sufferings because it is in the midst of adversity that others can relate to us the most.

Make sure to join us each Sunday as we hear personal stories and discover that in our adversity and suffering God Knows. And invite a friend to join you or watch online via the link mkcc.org.uk/live.
