Your help can make a difference to children in Morocco

For many years the Hannan School project in Morocco has supported the Berber people in one of the poorest, mountainous regions of Morocco.  Children in that area had limited access to paid schooling in Government Schools.  The Hannan School project has worked with the local schools and sponsored children to ensure as many as possible have access to basic education.

Updates – July 23

The Hannan School Charity has had a very successful year and also a year of great fun and learning for the children. With the delivery of all the Lanke Kade toys and the setting up of the water and sand play unit, the children have been enjoying educational play as well as their more serious parts of the curriculum of learning to read write and do their maths. They have also had some really fun times celebrating the Eid and Amazigh (Berber) New Year and the trustees and teachers in Morocco have done such a great job of providing party food with everything lovingly baked by the amazing teachers.

The children have now finished school as it gets so hot in Khenifra and the villages that it is impossible to be in the classroom. They will start back mid-September
