About The Series

‘Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.’ – Matthew 11:28

Most of us are just too busy to live an emotionally healthy and spiritually vibrant life. Hurry is incompatible with the way of Jesus. The love, joy, and peace that form the nucleus of Jesus’ kingdom are all impossible in a life of speed. We must “Ruthlessly eliminate hurry.”

Too often we treat the symptoms of toxicity in our modern world instead of trying to pinpoint the cause. A growing number of voices are pointing at hurry, or busyness as a root of much evil. There is now a compelling emotional and spiritual case against hurry and in favour of a slower, simpler way of life.

In our series, The Way of Jesus, we will be learning some of the key principles to discover the slower pace of life that Jesus demonstrated.
