    Mark Sherratt

    I am married to Alison and have two wonderful boys Wesley and Mitchell. After graduating the International Bible Training Institute in West Sussex I joined the leadership team at MKCC in 1989. Over the years I have served the church as Youth Pastor, Worship Pastor, Associate Pastor and from 2001 as Senior Pastor. I am committed to lead a team of gifted leaders to outworking the vision of MKCC to bring people to Jesus, equipping them to be fully devoted followers of Christ. I am passionate about the local church and for it to make an impact in the world with the good news of Jesus Christ. I also travel overseas as a speaker in Bible schools, leadership training initiatives, local churches and conferences.

    Billy Ritchie

    I am married to Nicola and have two children Abbie & Liam. Both now taller than me unfortunately. I first started attending MKCC in September 1984 when I moved to Milton Keynes after graduating Mattersey Hall Bible College. For many years I served as a volunteer at MKCC whilst pursuing my career in finance and investments. I now have the privilege of serving as part of the Governance Team and commenced in my role of Associate Pastor in 2001. The role is varied as I seek to support our Senior Pastor but I have a particular passion in the area of teaching and equipping the church as well as encouraging effective communications.

    My name is Nicola Ritchie, I'm married to Billy and I have two children, Abbie and Liam. My role at Milton Keynes Christian Centre is to lead and develop the children's ministry. To recruit inspire and equip a team of volunteers to minister to our children weekly, what an honour. I also oversee the management and development of our Day Nursery, Tiny Steps.

    I am married to Phil and have three wonderful children Joshua, Hannah & Ben. I love working with the younger children in Discovery Kids and have a special focus on the 2 to 5 year olds. I also oversee our children's discipleship programme, DK Groups, each Wednesday and it is a privilege to lead great teams of volunteers that make these ministries happen each week!

    I began attending MKCC as a young person in 1992, and following giving my life to Jesus, I knew that my desire was to share Him, specifically, with children. So, in 1998 I went to study at Mattersey Hall Bible College and a few years after graduating I returned to MKCC. After working as the Children's Pastor for children in school years 1 - 6 within Discovery Kids I now lead the Discovery Kids team. I am passionate about connecting kids to Jesus and teaching them about Him in a relevant way.

    I am married to Mark & have 4 children: Kathleen, Kyle, Kayleigh and Samantha. We started attending MKCC in 2008. I volunteer in Discovery kids and really enjoy serving in Discovery Kids and being a part of sharing Jesus with the children.

    Hannah Johnston

    Childrens Ministry Trainee
    I am married to Alex. My family has been a part of MKCC since I was a child so I have grown up in Discovery Kids. My role is to write curriculum for our yr 1-6 age group and to help the Discovery Kids team run on a Sunday. One of my favourite things is to be in Discovery Kids on a Sunday morning and being a part of the kids journey to know Christ more for themselves.

    I started following Jesus when I was around 7 at a summer kids camp I went to. Since then it has been an exciting journey that led me to Moorlands Bible College studying a degree in Applied Theology, and now a calling to serve here in Milton Keynes. My passion is doing everything I can to show people who God is through Jesus!

    I have been attending MKCC since 2002. Having served and worked in video and technical for many years I have moved to taking responsibility for Communications Projects within MKCC. This is an exciting role in which I help plan and organise with the rest of the Communications Team.

    I am married to Amy and we have 2 children. I attended Hillsong International Leadership College in Sydney, Australia in 2006 to 2007 where I studied for a Diploma in Pastoral Leadership; there I met my wife Amy. We then moved to England and got married; we started attending MKCC soon after and instantly felt welcome and part of a family. Initially I started serving on the Audio team. I am currently a member of the teaching team and part of the core leadership team.

    I am married to James and we have two wonderful Children. I attended Hillsong International Leadership College in Sydney, Australia from 2006 to 2008 where I studied Worship and Creative Arts; there I met my husband James. We then moved back to England, got married and started attending Milton Keynes Christian Centre soon after, I then started serving on the worship team. I joined the MKCC staff in 2014, I co-ordinate all administration for 'Next Steps' which includes New Guests, Life Groups, Growth Classes, Baptisms and Volunteering.

    I am a mother of two Grown up daughters, Sonia and Michelle and also the proud grandmother of Gemma and Dion. I first attended MKCC in August 1983 and felt right at home. I've served as a volunteer in various departments. For many years I had the privilege of leading the fantastic Stewarding team, the New friends Lunch/Welcome teams as well as the Hospitality team. I have a real passion to welcome people to our church and to help them connect and experience the amazing love of Jesus in their everyday lives, My current role is Care Pastor and I lead a great team of volunteers who give themselves totally to helping others who are struggling with life issues. I am so thankful to be a part of what God is doing among us.

    Married to Ola and blessed with 2 wonderful children, Damilola and Rotimi. We have been attending MKCC since 1999 and we serve in various volunteering roles within the church. I am passionate about people!! My desire is to demonstrate the love of Christ to every guest at MKCC, to enable every guest to feel welcomed and loved with the ultimate goal of enriching their walk with Christ. I serve by leading the Here to Serve team which includes our stewards and car parks volunteers. My husband and I also lead child dedication services and are equally passionate about developing and enriching marriages. Currently studying a Master's in Counselling, primarily to learn how to relate, love, equip and serve people even better.

    I am married to George and we have two married children, Ruth who lives in MK and Andrew who lives in America. We also have three beautiful grandchildren. George and I moved to MK in 1975 to pastor a small church in Bletchley. In 1979 we moved to the new city area and pioneered a church, which later became MKCC. My main role in the church is overseeing the work amongst senior citizens. Along with a wonderful, dedicated group of volunteers, we run Time Out each week, which is an outreach to the over 60's. My desire is to see older people give their lives to Christ and enjoy a great walk with God in their later years. I also volunteer in a number of different areas in the church: Coffee Shop/Stewarding/Food Bank. After over 40 years in ministry, it's still a joy and privilege to serve God and the church.

    I have been a member of MKCC since 2004, following a move from London with my 2 wonderful children, Shereese and Connor. In 2015, I was appointed to the role of Conference Manager at the centre which I held for 3 years. I took on my current role in March 2018 and in so doing took on the challenge of building relationships with other local churches; coordinating & promoting the great work that takes place in the pastoral team through 'EQUIP'; and mobilising our greatest resource "our people" to step out of their comfort zone within the Church and "Be Jesus" out there, in the local community. God's love is best expressed through the actions of the people who love Him; therefore my primary objective is to ensure that those around us know that we & God are "FOR Milton Keynes".

    I am married to Kay and we have three very lovely children Charissa, Khleo and Kerion. I love God, His word and am passionate about people; and I do feel extremely privileged and blessed that He has called me to serve Him. Since joining MKCC in 2005 I have volunteered in various ministries was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2007. I currently serve with the Discovery Kids team and am the lead for one of the Next Step Classes called Discover Ministry and the Food Bank Project. I have a passion for serving in my local community to make a difference and currently chair the boards at the Milton Keynes Community Foundation, the Milton Keynes College and Into The Community. I am the Managing Director of Indisys Business Solutions, and am currently providing strategic direction to international development projects at the Open University. Kay and I also manage a charity called Fresh Inspiration that focuses on supporting global outreach projects and teaching people to be everything that God called and created them to be. Prior to setting up Indisys Business Solutions and Fresh Inspiration, I worked with IBM as a Senior Consultant in Financial Services and Head of Diversity for UK Ireland & South Africa; and with HSBC in IT, Retail Banking and Card Services. I have an MBA in Finance from City University London, a postgraduate diploma in IT from Brunel University & a BSc in Architecture. It is a great honour to serve God and I am truly grateful to Him for enabling me to be part of the governance team at MKCC.

    George R Ridley is committed to taking good news to the poor and practical help to people. He is the Founder and Director of LightForce International, the missions arm of Milton Keynes Christian Centre and spends much of each year overseeing projects in Europe, Africa and Asia. Amazed at what can be accomplished through chasing a dream, exercising faith and working hard George continues to dedicate his life to making a difference, training & motivating others and launching sustainable projects in Uganda, India & Albania. George is married to Pam and they have two children and three grandchildren. George and Pam founded and established Milton Keynes Christian Centre and LightForce International in 1979.

    Ian Baird

    I lead a team of skilled and talented people who keep the centre running, covering general administration, finance, personnel, I.T., health and safety, accommodation, coffee shop, conferencing and looking after the facilities and grounds. I'm married to Judy and we have an energetic son called Nathan and a determined daughter named Ilona. I'm passionate about serving local church and enabling ministry. Both Judy and I moved to Milton Keynes in October 2000 when I joined the team at MKCC.

    Rachel Edwards

    My current role at MKCC is to oversee the finances, providing management information and accounts for the Governance Team. I also have a passion for mission and have served LightForce International since 1990. This has required me fulfilling various roles from logistics here in the UK to working at the coal face in different countries. Always seeking to serve God with the abilities & talents that He has given, and not afraid to take on new challenges & opportunities as He leads!

    I joined the team in 2018 bringing with me over a decade of experience in sales and marketing alongside previously running a Conference Centre. I am married and have 2 wonderful children who occupy most of my non-working time. I am also actively involved in church life at MKCC where I serve as the Worship Pastor. My attraction to working at MK Conferencing is that we are a unique facility, that effectively balances Corporate & Community events and uses our gain to invest back into the community of Milton Keynes and way beyond. At our heart, we are a People Centre and it is my intention to maintain this ethos and grow the business so as to continue to invest in the lives of our clients, facility users and staff and in so doing reflect a service of warmth and excellence..
