Fola Komolafe Chair of Governance Team I am married to Kay and we have three very lovely children – Charissa, Khleo and Kerion. I love God, His word and am passionate about people; and I do feel extremely privileged and blessed that He has called me to serve Him. Since joining MKCC in 2005 I have volunteered in various ministries was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2007. I currently serve with the Discovery Kids team and am the lead for one of the Next Step Classes called Discover Ministry and the Food Bank Project. I have a passion for serving in my local community to make a difference and currently chair the boards at the Milton Keynes Community Foundation, the Milton Keynes College and Into The Community. I am the Managing Director of Indisys Business Solutions, and am currently providing strategic direction to international development projects at the Open University. Kay and I also manage a charity called Fresh Inspiration that focuses on supporting global outreach projects and teaching people to be everything that God called and created them to be. Prior to setting up Indisys Business Solutions and Fresh Inspiration, I worked with IBM as a Senior Consultant in Financial Services and Head of Diversity for UK Ireland & South Africa; and with HSBC in IT, Retail Banking and Card Services. I have an MBA in Finance from City University London, a postgraduate diploma in IT from Brunel University & a BSc in Architecture. It is a great honour to serve God and I am truly grateful to Him for enabling me to be part of the governance team at MKCC.
Peter Takacs Vice-Chair I’m married to Csilla, and have two lovely children Phillip and Adel. We moved to Milton Keynes in 2006 from Budapest, Hungary. I feel very privileged to be serving as part of the governance team as well as the music team, where I play keyboards. Worship through music has always been a very important part of my life, and I hope to inspire young musicians who have a heart for leading others through music. I work as a procurement consultant, so I enjoy helping others spend their money wisely.
Mark Sherratt Senior Pastor & Director I am married to Alison and have two wonderful boys Wesley and Mitchell. After graduating the International Bible Training Institute in West Sussex I joined the leadership team at MKCC in 1980. Over the years I have served the church as Youth Pastor, Worship Pastor, Associate Pastor and from 2001 as Senior Pastor. I am committed to lead a team of gifted leaders to outworking the vision of MKCC to bring people to Jesus, equipping them to be fully devoted followers of Christ. I am passionate about the local church and for it to make an impact in the world with the good news of Jesus Christ. I also travel overseas as a speaker in Bible schools, leadership training initiatives, local churches and conferences.
Billy Ritchie Associate Pastor & Director I am married to Nicola and have two children Abbie & Liam. Both now taller than me unfortunately. I first started attending MKCC in September 1984 when I moved to Milton Keynes after graduating Mattersey Hall Bible College. For many years I served as a volunteer at MKCC whilst pursuing my career in finance and investments. I now have the privilege of serving as part of the Governance Team and commenced in my role of Associate Pastor in 2001. The role is varied as I seek to support our Senior Pastor but I have a particular passion in the area of teaching and equipping the church as well as encouraging effective communications.
Bola Odunlami Director I am married to Bolajoko and we have two daughters, Jadesola and Damilola. I have been at Milton Keynes Christian Centre since 1997. I am a devout follower of Christ, who likes to obey the great commission of spreading the good news of the Gospel. I am a certified business systems consultant with over 20 years of technical computing experience. I have a Masters Degree in Information Systems Engineering and B Eng. Chemical Engineering. I have experience in both business and management of people. I volunteer in various capacities within MKCC and currently serve within the PA team providing audio support.
Tayo Kufeji Director I am married to Folake, whom I met at University, and we have 3 lovely children, Banke, Lolade and Ayo. We started attending MKCC in 2004 after we moved to Milton Keynes and we have been part of the MKCC family since then. I have served in the Discovery Kids team since 2004 and have also been a Lifegroup leader and now serve as a Lifegroup Cluster leader. I qualified as a medical doctor in 1997 and attended the University of Nottingham for a Masters degree in Public Health in 2000. I subsequently trained to become a General Practitioner (GP) and I have worked as a GP in Milton Keynes since 2005. I am a GP partner at a large practice serving 22,000 patients in Milton Keynes. I served on the NHS clinical commissioning Board for 4 years and am currently also the Named GP for Safeguarding across Milton Keynes. I love interacting with people and my passion is to influence children and young people for God by teaching them the word of God and seeing them grounded in the faith. I am keen to serve God in any way I can and It is a great privilege to serve as a director on the MKCC governance team.
Andy Kiff Director I am married to Carolyn and have two children, Holly and Ethan. I moved to Milton Keynes and started attending MKCC in 1997, having finished studies in Manchester. I have been involved in ministry in different capacities since then, joining the worship team in 1998 and currently serving as Music Director. I joined the Governance Team in 2010 where I have the privilege of working alongside a team of wise and experienced people, using my business experience as an accountant and business consultant for God. I also serve as a Cluster Leader with Carolyn, looking after a great group of life group leaders.
Ginny Brown Director I am married to John, my amazing soul mate and have 3 great sons, Chris, Angus and Matthew. We relocated to Milton Keynes in 2013 and have steadily got involved with various ministries, in particular we serve as leaders in the Here to Serve Team and as Multi Cluster Leaders in the Life Group Team. My greatest passion is to see people grow deeper in their faith with Christ and to be free of the struggles and strongholds that so readily hold us back. I have a BSc(Hons) in Management Sciences from the University of St Andrews. I carried onto further studies in accountancy and worked for 5 years in commercial practice both in London and then Scotland, where we lived after getting married. Following a career break to bring up children, I moved into the finance side of the education sector and have 18 years university and secondary school experience. I am presently the Finance and Personnel Manager at the Royal Latin School where I also serve as a staff Governor. I am looking forward to contributing to the life and work of MKCC through the Governance Team.
